    Sammanfattning : While mental health problems according psychotropic drug purchases and sick leave spells for psychiatric disorders have increased in Sweden the past 15 years, this is not reflected in trends of psychiatric diagnoses or suicide mortality.     Sammanfattning : Why do psychiatric diseases run in families? Why do some women tend to have similar obstetric complications in subsequent pregnancies? The overall aim of this thesis was to investigate how genes and environments contribute to the aggregation of schizophrenia and adverse pregnancy outcomes in some families.     Sammanfattning : The present licentiate thesis is devoted to the rigorous derivation of the equations governing thin-film flow of incompressible Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids.
