    Sammanfattning : In recent decades, photoluminescence properties of single molecules and ions have opened new possibilities for studies on smaller size scales, below the light-diffraction limit. In this thesis, the advantages of such single photon emitters were harnessed and studied mainly in the field of biophysics, but also, in investigations within solid state photonics. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This licentiate thesis is about the dynamics analysis of chemical reactions involving a stoichiometric mixture of sterically hindered Lewis base (LB) and Lewis acid (LA) – the so-called frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs). The tool for dynamical description of chemical reactions is the ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD) simulations together with the calculation of minimum energy paths (MEPs) on the potential energy surfaces (PESs).     Sammanfattning : A momentum imaging spectrometer optimized for photoionization experiments with synchrotron radiation was built in 2008.
