  1. 1. System analysis of a PV/T hybrid solar window

    Detta är en avhandling från Energy and Building Design, Lund University

    Författare :Henrik Davidsson; [2010]
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Solar window; PV T hybrid; building integration; TRNSYS;

    Sammanfattning : A building-integrated multifunctional PV/T solar window was suggested and developed by Andreas Fieber. The solar window is constructed of PV cells laminated on solar absorbers placed in a window behind the glazing. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Diffusion of dynamic innovations A case study of residential solar PV systems

    Detta är en avhandling från Energy and Building Design, Lund University

    Författare :Emrah Karakaya; Cali Nuur; Antonio Hidalgo; Anna Bergek; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Dynamic innovations; diffusion; residential solar; photovoltaics; time; space; Industriell ekonomi och organisation; Industrial Engineering and Management;

    Sammanfattning : In the literature on diffusion of innovations, it is widely known that the characteristics and socio-environmental settings of adopters do evolve in space and time. What about innovations themselves? During the diffusion process, don’t some innovations continuously alter in space and time? If so, how does the dynamic character of an innovation influence the diffusion process? In previous research, it has been often assumed that innovations do not continuously alter or get modified when diffusing from a source to potential adopters. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Large Scale Solar Power Integration in Distribution Grids PV Modelling, Voltage Support and Aggregation Studies

    Detta är en avhandling från Stockholm : KTH Royal Institute of Technology

    Författare :Afshin Samadi; Lennart Söder; Olof Samuelsson; [2014]
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Photovoltaic systems; PV system modelling; reactive power control; droop control; voltage sensitivity analysis; German Grid Codes; relative gain array RGA ; singular value decomposition SVD ; load modeling; system identification; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Long term supporting schemes for photovoltaic (PV) system installation have led to accommodating large numbers of PV systems within load pockets in distribution grids. High penetrations of PV systems can cause new technical challenges, such as voltage rise due to reverse power flow during light load and high PV generation conditions. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Optical Design for Stationary Solar Concentrators

    Detta är en avhandling från Faculty of Engineering, LTH at Lund University

    Författare :Johan Nilsson; [2007]
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; photovoltaic cells; parabolic reflectors; optical efficiency; Solar concentrators; photovoltaic-thermal systems; non-imaging optics; optical properties; building integrated photovoltaics; non uniform irradiance distribution; structured reflectors; solar cell modelling; ray tracing;

    Sammanfattning : Solar electricity is one of the most promising technologies for our future electricity supply. By using concentrators, it is possible to reduce the cost of generating photovoltaic electricity. This thesis discusses how to design stationary low concentrating systems for photovoltaic or PV/Thermal applications. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Solar Variability Assessment and Grid Integration Methodology Development and Case Studies

    Detta är en avhandling från Faculty of Engineering, LTH at Lund University

    Författare :David Lingfors; Joakim Widén; Uwe Zimmermann; Eva Wäckelgård; Tobias Boström; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Solar variability; Photovoltaics; Grid integration; GIS; Distributed generation; Engineering Science; Teknisk fysik;

    Sammanfattning : During the 21st century there has been a tremendous increase in grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) capacity globally, due to falling prices and introduction of economic incentives. PV systems are in most cases small-scale, installed on residential dwellings, which means that the power production is widely distributed and close to the end-user of electricity. LÄS MER
