    Sammanfattning : Specific and non-specific interactions of solutes with immobilized biomembranes were studied using chromatographic methods. Liposomes, proteoliposomes and red blood cell (RBC) membrane vesicles were immobilized by a freeze-thawing procedure, whereas whole RBCs were adsorbed in the gel beds using electrostatic interaction, binding to wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) or the streptavidin-biotin interaction.     Sammanfattning : Capillary gas chromatography columns coated with silicone gums as stationary phases proved to have a higher thermal stability than columns coated with silicone oils. The temperature stability of a stationary phase film can, however, be further increased when the phase is, in situ, immobilized either by polymerization of the silicone or by freeradical cross-linking.
