  1. 6. Egocentric interaction for ambient intelligence

    Författare :Dipak Surie; Lars-Erik Janlert; Thomas Pederson; Hans Gellersen; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Ambient Intelligence; Human-Computer Interaction; Context-Aware computing; Ubiquitous Computing; Mixed-Reality; Smart Environments; Activity-Based Computing; Ambient Ecology; business data processing; administrativ databehandling;

    Sammanfattning : Ambient intelligence refers to the vision of computationally augmented everyday environments that are sensitive, adaptive and responsive to humans and intelligently support their daily lives. Ambient ecologies are the infrastructures of ambient intelligence. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Intention recognition in human machine collaborative systems

    Författare :Daniel Aarno; Danica Kragic; Darius Burschka; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Robotics; Human-machine collaboration; Virtual fixture; hidden Markov model; Machine learning; Artificial intelligence; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Robotsystem har använts flitigt under de senaste årtiondena för att skapa automationslösningar i ett flertal områden. De flesta nuvarande automationslösningarna är begränsade av att uppgifterna de kan lösa måste vara repetitiva och förutsägbara. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Mathematical Modeling of the Muscle Effects on the Human Body Responses under Transient Loads - Example of the Head-Neck Complex

    Författare :Adam Wittek; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; cervical spine; transient loads; muscle effects; Hill-type muscle models; finite element analysis; impact biomechanics; mathematical modeling;

    Sammanfattning : The goal of this study was to develop and apply a method that overcomes limitations of the currently available solutions for finite-element modeling of skeletal muscles and their effects on dynamic responses of the human body under transient loads. One of such limitations is that finite element codes commercially available in the field impact biomechanics do not contain any specific procedures for simulation of skeletal muscles. LÄS MER

  4. 9. On intelligent automation systems

    Författare :Endre Erös; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; automated planning; Automation; testing and coverability.; modeling; virtual preparation and commissioning; robot operating system;

    Sammanfattning : Developing automation systems that are capable of handling dynamic and unpredictable situations is a challenging task, as it requires adapting to a changing environment and managing potentially unforeseen action outcomes. In contrast to traditional automation, where control code is explicitly pro- grammed, a model-based approach might be a more appropriate solution for automating such systems. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Social and Organizational Aspects of Requirements Engineering Methods

    Författare :C. G. Mikael Johansson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Improving requirements engineering has been recognized as critical for the 1990s. Reported differences in theoretical reasoning vs. the practice of how methods are used suggest a need for further research. A way to proceed is to investigate how real-life system design situations can be supported the best way. LÄS MER
