  1. 1. Närsjukhuset - Fysisk struktur för patientfokuserad vård

    Författare :Anders Melin; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Primary care; primary care center; horizontally integrated care; healthcare facility; facility development; community-based healthcare; intermediate care; community hospital; local hospital; primary healthcare;

    Sammanfattning : Access to healthcare and medical treatment is essential in the society of today. Th e optimisation ofresources has a great impact on architectural design, the location of facilities and access to health services.Lack of skilled staff in the healthcare sector will considerably aff ect the organisation and the designof facilities. 3. 3. A clinical positron emission tomography facility : 2-¹⁸FDG studies : development and results

    Författare :Tomas G Ohlsson; Lund Medicinsk strålningsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; radiology; Clinical physics; head and neck cancer; monitoring therapy effect; quantification; normalization; 511 keV SPECT; rotating PET scanner; 2-[18-F]FDG; isotope production; 18-F; PET; positron emission tomography; tomography; medical instrumentation; Klinisk fysiologi; radiologi; tomografi; medicinsk instrumentering; Fysicumarkivet A:1996:Ohlsson;

    Sammanfattning : Positron emission tomography (PET) is a tracer technique used for quantitative in vivo studies of physiological and biochemical processes. Because of the use of positron-emitting radionuclides such as 11-C, 13-N, 15-O and 18-F, which are isotopes of the biologically ubiquitous elements, it is possible to label radiopharmaceuticals which trace biochemical processes precisely. 4. 4. Nuclear safeguards evaluation and analysis techniques for application to nuclear fuel material in Generation IV nuclear energy systems

    Författare :Matilda Åberg Lindell; Sophie Grape; Ane Håkansson; Peter Andersson; Juhani Hyvärinen; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Fysik; Physics;

    Sammanfattning : A new generation of nuclear energy systems called Generation IV is under development to ensure that nuclear power will be a safe, reliable and sustainable energy source for the future. This thesis addresses the challenge of making future nuclear energy systems increasingly resistant to nuclear material diversion attempts. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Social determinants of health care use for Ugandan children : does social capital matter?

    Författare :Solome Kiribakka Bakeera; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Social determinants of health care use individually and synergistically contribute to substantial disparities that exist among children. Whilst many of the determinants that influence children’s effective health care use are well defined, social capital as a potential enabling factor is less well evidenced, particularly in low income countries.
