Sammanfattning : This thesis is aimed at contributing to the lack of knowledge in the field of peacebuilding from below, notably regarding the mechanisms to be used in order to overcome the painful past between conflicting parties. The study makes this contribution through an empirically based exploration of the relational outcomes resulting from conflicting parties’ memberships of the same cooperative organization after the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. 14. Risk, Occupational Choice, and Inequality
Sammanfattning : This paper presents a new theory explaining increased wage inequality by augmenting a general equilibrium model with occupational choice and risk. By combining an endogenous growth model with occupational choice it is shown that wage inequality, measured by the average wage of high skilled workers divided by the average wage of low skilled workers, can increase or decrease due to an increased supply of high skilled workers. Sammanfattning : Supply chain management practices and losses in food value chains of three major food commodities in Ethiopia (milk, teff and warqe or enset) were evaluated in this thesis. Teff is a cereal, while warqe is a perennial plant from which the food products kocho and bulla are extracted. Teff, kocho and bulla are staple foods for many Ethiopians. LÄS MER
