16. Melt spun piezoelectric textile fibres : an experimental study
Sammanfattning : Melt Spun Piezoelectric Textile Fibres - an Experimental Study ANJA LUND Department of Materials and Manufacturing Technology Chalmers University of Technology ABSTRACT The manufacturing and characterisation of piezoelectric textile fibres are described in this thesis. A piezoelectric material is one that generates an electric voltage when deformed, a property which exists in a number of materials. LÄS MER
17. Graphene : a vision to the future of smart E-Textile application
Sammanfattning : Smart textile is a term referring to the textiles that could interact with their environment, receiving input and giving output based on their applications. Among smart textiles, electrically driven smart textiles (E-textiles) are being produced by various methods and materials integrated with textile substances. LÄS MER
18. Electroanalytical devices with fluidic control using textile materials and methods
Sammanfattning : This thesis, written by Ingrid Öberg Månsson at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and entitled “Electroanalytical devices with fluidic control using textile materials and methods”, presents experimental studies on the development of textile based electronic devices and biosensors. One of the reasons why this is of interest is the growing demand for integrated smart products for wearable health monitoring or energy harvesting. LÄS MER
19. Quality Inspection and Evaluation of Smart or Functional Textile Fabric Surface by Skin Contact Mechanics
Sammanfattning : The rapid progress in consuming e-textiles has made a huge uprising in the researcher’s track on the course of smart and functional textile development. Consumption of functional and smart textiles in the wearable e-textile is fetching extra eye-catching scheme owing to its lightweight property, flexibility, stretchability, and the ability to be integrated into wearable apparel. 20. Textile electrodes for ECG measurements in distributed care, performance and applications
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis work has been to explore textile electrodes for electrocardiographic (ECG) measurements both in terms of their electrode properties and possibility to further improve their robustness to noise with signal processing techniques. Previous research within the field has shown that acquisition of ECG is possible with textile electrodes, but little attention has been focused on how they function and especially if movements are included in the measurement protocol.
