21. The genetic relationship between rhyolitic volcanism and Zn-Cu-Au deposits in the Maurliden volcanic centre, Skellefte district, Sweden : volcanic facies, lithogeochemistry and geochronology
Sammanfattning : The Skellefte district is one of three major ore provinces in Sweden and contains more than 80 Zn-Cu-Au-Ag massive sulphide deposits. The Maurliden area in the central part of the district represents a subaqueous, constructional and relatively topographic high silicic volcanic centre. LÄS MER
22. Genesis and tectonic setting of the hypozonal Fäboliden orogenic gold deposit, northern Sweden
Sammanfattning : The well-known Skellefte Ore District, northern Sweden, hosts a large number of massive sulphide deposits, a few porphyry-type-deposits and a number of gold deposits in different geological settings. Southwest of this district a new ore province, the so called Gold Line, is presently being uncovered. LÄS MER
23. Timing and Origin of Igneous Rocks in the Gällivare area, Northern Sweden
Sammanfattning : The Gällivare area is one of Europe’s top mining regions. The area is located in the northern Norrbotten ore district which hosts ore deposits such as the Malmberget underground iron ore mine, the Aitik open pit Cu-Au mine and the currently explored Nautanen Cu-Au deposit. In addition, several small, mineralized bodies are found. LÄS MER
24. Crustal architecture of the Kiruna mining district : Structural framework, geological modeling, and physical rock property distribution
Sammanfattning : Rapid technological advancements and growing environmental consciousness created a shifting dynamic of metal demand within the context of contemporary global challenges. The metals play a pivotal role in this transformation and remarkable surge in demand is expected. LÄS MER
25. The crustal architecture of the central Skellefte district, Sweden : Structural analysis, setting of VMS deposits and 3D-modelling
Sammanfattning : The Skellefte district in northern Sweden is a Palaeoproterozoic volcanic arc hosting abundant volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits. The dominating rocks in the district are submarine volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks of the Skellefte Group deposited in an extensional regime at 1.89–1.88 Ga. LÄS MER
