1. Geometallurgy of a complex ore : Lappberget Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu-Au) deposit, Garpenberg mine, Sweden
Sammanfattning : Complex ores, in this instance, a polymetallic base metal ore with additional precious and penalty elements, pose particularly tough challenges for successful production forecasts. Plant performance and recoveries for complex ores are more difficult to predict due to the larger number of variables that must be considered, tracked, and characterized during the multi-stage separation process. 2. The Tjårrojåkka apatite-iron and Cu (-Au) deposits, northern Sweden : products of one ore forming event
Sammanfattning : The Tjårrojåkka area is located about 50 km WSW of Kiruna, northern Sweden, and hosts one of the best examples of spatially related apatite-iron (Kiruna type) and Cu (-Au) deposits in Sweden. The results from this project show that the two deposits are genetically related and indicate the presence of a younger, previously unknown, 1780 Ma generation of apatite- iron ores in northern Sweden. 4. Paleoproterozoic deformation in the Kiruna‑Gällivare area in northern Norrbotten, Sweden : Setting, character, age, and control of iron oxide-apatite deposits
Sammanfattning : This thesis covers the structural evolution of the Kiruna‑Gällivare area in the northern Norrbotten ore province, Sweden. The study area hosts several economically significant iron oxide-apatite (IOA) deposits and includes the type locality for this ore type. LÄS MER
5. The Älgträsk intrusion-related Au (Cu, Zn) deposit, Skellefte district, northern Sweden : Relationships between ore forming events in the Palaeoproterozoic Jörn intrusive complex
Sammanfattning : Palaeoproterozoic intrusion hosted and intrusion related deposits such as the Älgträsk Au±Cu±Zn, Åkerberg Au, Älgliden Cu–Ni±Au, and the porphyry style Järvträsk Cu±Mo±Zn, Granberg Cu±Mo and Tallberg Cu–Au±Mo deposits are situated in the northern part of the Skellefte District, northern Sweden. These deposits are all hosted within the oldest unit of the Jörn intrusive complex (JIC). LÄS MER
