  1. 1. Innovation Resistance : Moving Beyond Dominant Framings

    Författare :Helena Fornstedt; Marcus Lindahl; David Sköld; Hervé Corvellec; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Innovation; Innovation Resistance; Barriers to Innovation; Actor-Network Theory; Critical Innovation Studies; Science; Technology and Innovation Studies; Knowledge production; Innovation in the Anthropocene; Sustainability; Engineering Science with specialization in industrial engineering and management; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot industriell teknik;

    Sammanfattning : Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) research has mainly had an outlook that frames innovation in a pro-innovation, pro-firm, manner. Connected to this perception of innovation is a view of human and non-human resistance as a temporary unwanted response that will eventually be overcome. LÄS MER

    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Arc Welding; Weld Pool; Multiphysics Simulations; Moving Boundaries; Free Surfaces; Mesh Motion; Two-Phase Flow; Incompressible Flow; Electromagnetics; Finite Element Methods; Applied mathematics; Tillämpad matematik; Manufacturing engineering; Produktionsteknik; Manufacturing and materials engineering; Produktions- och materialteknik; Arc Welding; Weld Pool; Multiphysics Simulations; Moving Boundaries; Free Surfaces; Mesh Motion; Two-Phase Flow; Incompressible Flow; Electromagnetics; Finite Element Methods;

    Sammanfattning : This investigation is devoted to the study of welding and its effect on the workpiece, focusing on the thermo and fluid dynamical phenomena occuring during a autogenous or nonautogenous arc fusion welding process. Its aim is to simulate the behaviour of the weld pool and analyze the consequence of the solid-liquid phase change, thus obtaining a methodology for predicting the appearance of weld defects related to solidification and cooling. Sammanfattning : Nickel-based superalloys are a commonly used material in applications where high strength is required at high temperatures. A typical such example is jet engines and, in the case of polycrystalline nickel-based superalloys, components like turbine disks. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Computational Free-Surface Flows Computational Techniques for Nonlinear Seepage Flow in Porous Media with Free and Moving Boundaries

    Författare :Nahidh Hamid Sharif; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; nonlinear seepage flow; ICT; free boundary; LSM; CFD; two-fluid interfaces; FEM;

    Sammanfattning : Motion of a viscous fluid interface is encountered in many physical processes in engineering applications. The accurate representation and efficient numerical solution of the fluid interface are crucial problems in simulations of the physical processes in these applications. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis considers the problem of making dynamic models for industrial processes by combining physical modelling with experimental data. The focus is on distributed parameter systems, that is, systems for which the model structure involves partial differential equations (PDE). Distributed parameter systems are important in many applications, e. LÄS MER
