    Sammanfattning : Background: The maternal mortality ratio for Uganda is 435/100,000 live births. Between 12-30 percent of the maternal deaths are due to induced abortions. According to the 2007 Uganda demographic and health survey (UDHS), the contraceptive prevalence rate was 24 percent and only 18 percent used modern contraceptives. LÄS MER
