  1. 16. Embedded Controller for Artificial Limbs

    Författare :Enzo Mastinu; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Prosthetic Controller; Pattern Recognition; Osseointegrated Human-Machine Gateway OHMG ; Electromyography EMG ; Osseointegration.; Sensory Feedback;

    Sammanfattning : Promising developments are currently ongoing worldwide in the field of neuroprosthetics and artificial limb control. It is now possible to chronically connect a robotic limb to bone, nerves and muscles of a human being, and use the signals sourced from these connections to enable movements in the artificial limb. 2. 17. NOx Abatement Technique for Marine Applications - Improved SCR Systems

    Författare :Mathias Magnusson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Sulfur dioxide; Human-Machine system; NOx reduction; Water; urea-SCR catalyst; Marine applications; Human element.;

    Sammanfattning : Growing awareness of the environmental implications of emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOX), such as eutrophication and acidification on land and at sea, has contributed to the development of more stringent international NOx legislations within the framework of IMO, with the most stringent legislation, Tier III, representing a NOx reduction of approximately 80% compared with today’s engines. Several NOx abatement technologies are available on the market, the most effective of which may be Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). LÄS MER

  4. 19. A Representation Scheme for Description and Reconstruction of Object Configurations Based on Qualitative Relations

    Författare :Heike Joe Steinhauer; Erik Sandewall; Alexander Klippel; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Qualitative Reasoning; Spatial Reasoning; Cognitive Modeling; Human-Machine Interaction; Coarse Reasoning; Artificial Intelligence; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : One reason Qualitative Spatial Reasoning (QSR) is becoming increasingly important to Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the need for a smooth ‘human-like’ communication between autonomous agents and people. The selected, yet general, task motivating the work presented here is the scenario of an object configuration that has to be described by an observer on the ground using only relational object positions. 5. 20. A toolbox for idea generation and evaluation : Machine learning, data-driven, and contest-driven approaches to support idea generation

    Författare :Workneh Yilma Ayele; Gustaf Juell-Skielse; Paul Johannesson; Ahmed Elragal; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Idea generation; idea mining; data-driven idea generation; data-driven idea evaluation; toolbox for idea generation; toolbox for idea evaluation; contest-driven idea generation; machine learning for idea generation; text mining for idea generation; analytics for idea generation; human-centred AI for creativity; data- och systemvetenskap; Computer and Systems Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Ideas are sources of creativity and innovation, and there is an increasing demand for innovation. For example, the start-up ecosystem has grown in both number and global spread. As a result, established companies need to monitor more start-ups than before and therefore need to find new ways to identify, screen, and collaborate with start-ups. LÄS MER
