6. Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Machines with Non-Overlapping Concentrated Windings for Low-Speed Direct-Drive Applications
Sammanfattning : Many geared electric drives can benefit from removing the gearbox and driving directly the load at low speed using a permanent-magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). PMSMs with non-overlapping concentrated windings are particularly attractive in low-speed direct drives since they allow, among other advantages, a high number of poles with a limited number of slots. 7. On Stabilization of Sensorless Synchronous Motor Drives and Traction Converters
8. Control of permanent-magnet synchronous machines in automotive applications
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the design and analysis of control system structures for electric drives equipped with permanent-magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs) in automotive applications. Sensorless control, meaning vector control without a mechanical rotor position sensor, is considered and a speed and position estimator of phase-locked loop type is analyzed thoroughly. LÄS MER
9. On Electric Machinery for Integrated Motor Drives in Automotive Applications
Sammanfattning : Compact, electric drives for automotive traction applications represent animportant enabler towards realizing tomorrow’s fossil free transport solutions. One attractive solution is to integrate the power electronic converter withits associated electric machinery into a single unit. 10. On Control of Back-to-Back Converters and Sensorless Induction Machine Drives
Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on design and analysis of the control system structure for back-to-back converter squirrel-cage induction machine drives. Particularly, sensorless control of induction machines, meaning vector control without a mechanical shaft sensor, and vector control of pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) rectifiers are considered. LÄS MER
