  1. 16. Event-Driven Architectures for Heterogeneous Neuromorphic Computing Systems

    Författare :Mattias Nilsson; Fredrik Sandin; Foteini Liwicki; Jerker Delsing; Chiara Bartolozzi; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Neuromorphic computing; Mixed-signal; Low-power; Non-von Neumann; Spatiotemporal pattern recognition; System integration; Cyber-Physical Systems; Cyberfysiska system;

    Sammanfattning : Mixed-signal neuromorphic processors have brain-like organization and device physics optimized for emulation of spiking neural networks (SNNs), and offer an energy-efficient alternative for implementing artificial intelligence in applications where deep learning based on conventional digital computing is unfeasible or unsustainable. However, efficient use of such hardware requires appropriate configuration of its inhomogeneous, analog neurosynaptic circuits, with methods for sparse, spike-timing-based information encoding and processing. 2. 17. Dynamic Adaptation in Industrial IoT Systems

    Författare :An Ngoc Lam; Jerker Delsing; Øystein Haugen; Hartwig Baumgärtel; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Autonomic Computing; Industrial IoT; Self-adaptation; Semantic Interoperability; System of Systems; Cyberfysiska system; Cyber-Physical Systems;

    Sammanfattning : The evolution of the current technological landscape has opened an emergent paradigm that enables interoperability between the digital and physical world, leading to a new generation of industrial systems. This new digitalization era marks the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution, usually referred to as "Industry 4.0". LÄS MER

  3. 18. Architectures for Automated Contractual Cooperation

    Författare :Emanuel Palm; Ulf Bodin; Olov Schelén; Jerker Delsing; Alex Norta; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Ricardian contracts; industry 4.0; system-of-systems; blockchain; interoperability; e-contract; smart contract; Cyber-Physical Systems; Cyberfysiska system;

    Sammanfattning : Every agreement freely entered into is a contract. Some are stated in front of witnesses, other are implied by actions, while yet other are meticulously recorded in lengthy documents. They specify the terms of collaboration and allow for disputes to be settled in a court of law. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Methods and Tools for Efficient Model-Based Development of Cyber-Physical Systems with Emphasis on Model and Tool Integration

    Författare :Alachew Mengist; Adrian Pop; Peter Fritzson; Christian König; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Model-based tools and methods are playing important roles in the design and analysis of cyber-physical systems before building and testing physical prototypes. The development of increasingly complex CPSs requires the use of multiple tools for different phases of the development lifecycle, which in turn depends on the ability of the supporting tools to interoperate. Författare :Chen-Wei Yang; Valeriy Vyatkin; Evgeny Osipov; Nirmal Nair; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Dependable Communication and Computation Systems; Kommunikations- och beräkningssystem;

    Sammanfattning : The main focus of this thesis is in the domain of Energy Systems, specifically in the engi-neering of modern Smart Grid (SG) automation systems. The SG has been categorizedas a Cyber-Physical System (CPS), a complex system which exhibits tight integration between the cyber and the physical processes and their interactions in a networked envi-ronment.
