Sammanfattning : The study treats a class of engraved scarab gems commonly known by the name of a globolo, produced in Central Italy in the Late Classical to Early Hellenistic periods. The point of departure is a newly developed database of all known specimens, which amount to 1,470, covering a wide range of information categories, which have guided the structure of the presentation. 4. "Godis för kropp och själ" : Välbefinnande och vardagsandlighet i tre svenska kvinnotidningar
Sammanfattning : This thesis analyses discourses on health and wellbeing in three Swedish lifestyle magazines for women, Amelia, Tara and M-magasin, and how readers of these magazines reflect on and negotiate the values and identities presented in them. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to increased knowledge about mediatized religion, directed to women by commercial women's magazines on a secular market, and how this religion is presented, perceived and used as a resource for women's wellbeing, lifestyle and identity. 5. Aiming for change : intentional communities and ideology in function
Sammanfattning : The question raised in this thesis is whether there is a common ideology to be found among intentional communities, and if so, what does characterise such an ideology and how does it relate to the traditional –isms? The study takes its theoretical point of departure in a functional concept of ideology, along with six dimensions of social critique: the political, the politico-economic, the politico-sexual, the psychosocial, the religious and spiritual, and the environmental. The findings of this study indicate that intentional communities have a common ideological core. LÄS MER
