    Sammanfattning : The aim of the present thesis was to investigate hormonal and physiological effects in mothers during a breastfeeding session and in dogs and their owners in response to short-term interaction. In study one, sixty-six mothers receiving either exogenous oxytocin infusion and/or epidural analgesia (EDA) during labor or intramuscular oxytocin injection post partum were studied. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Wood consists essentially of secondary plant cell walls, composed of a cellulose and hemicellulose network impregnated with lignin. It is formed via the development of derivatives of a thin layer of cells (the vascular cambium) into xylem cells through cell division, expansion, secondary wall formation, lignification and, finally, programmed cell death.     Sammanfattning : Spontaneous oxidized flavour (SOF) is an off-flavour in milk that has received attention in only a few countries, primarily due to lack of monitoring. The poly unsaturated fatty acids in milk are considered to make it more prone to oxidize, with effects like shorter shelf life of dairy products and a reduction in consumer acceptance of milk. LÄS MER
