  1. 1. Lärares beskrivningar av evolution som undervisningsinnehåll i biologi på gymnasiet

    Författare :Maria Petersson; Per-Olof Wickman; Christina Ottander; Karlstads universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Evolution; biology; science education; content; upper secondary school; teacher; teaching content; teacher growth; selective traditions; curriculum; over arching aims; inter view; Evolution; biologiundervisning; biologi; biologididaktik; innehåll; gymnasiet; lärare; erfarenhet; selektiva traditioner; undervisningsinnehåll; erfarna lärare; styrdokument; övergripande mål; ämnes karaktär; didaktik; intervjuer; Biology; Biologi; Utbildning och lärande;

    Sammanfattning : Biological evolution is part of the syllabi for Biology and Science in Swedish upper secondary school. In the syllabi, evolution is not only presented as a topic in Biology courses, but is also regarded as a unifying theme. The teacher has a fundamental role in deciding how the national curriculum is translated into the educational situation. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Sensitivity and selectivity studies in capillary electrophoresis

    Författare :Maria Petersson; Centrum för analys och syntes; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; peptides; dansyl amino acids; imaging detection; cyclodextrins; enantiomer separation; acoustic levitation; solid-phase extraction; preconcentration; capillary electrophoresis; micellar electrokinetic chromatography; drugs; Analytical chemistry; Analytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Capillary electrophoresis is characterised by high separation efficiency, applicability to a wide range of compounds, small sample and solvent consumption and simple instrumentation. To improve sensitivity using on-line absorbance detectors, which are hampered by the short optical path length, sample volumes in the microlitre range were concentrated to nanolitre volumes either off-line or on-line. 3. 3. Short- and long-term cardiovascular and behavioural effects of oxytocin : mechanisms involved and influence of female steroid hormones

    Författare :Maria Petersson; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :oxytocin; nociceptive thresholds; naloxone; blood pressure; heart rate; spontaneous motor activity; oestrous cycle; ovariectomy; oestradiol; progesterone; weight gain; clonidine; locus coeruleus; alpha 2-adrenoreceptor; cholecystokinin; insulin; gastrin; corticosterone; ACTH; rat;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of the present thesis was to investigate short- and long-term cardiovascular and behavioural effects of oxytocin. In addition, the influence of female steroid hormones as well as possible mechanisms behind the oxytocin induced effects were investigated. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Djurhållning och betesdrift : Djur, människor och landskap i västra Östergötland under yngre bronsålder och äldre järnålder

    Författare :Maria Petersson; Bo Gräslund; Christopher Prescott; Uppsala universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on animal husbandry and organised grazing in western Östergötland during the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age. The primary aim is to investigate how animal husbandry was organised from a practical perspective. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Enhanced edible films of mixed biopolymers for controlled release

    Författare :Maria Petersson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; acetem; phase separation; mechanical properties; hylon; edible rilm; release; starch; zein; water vapour premeability;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years there has been a growing interest and increased intensity of research in the area of edible films and coatings. Edible films and coatings can improve quality and shelf-life of food products by acting as barriers to e.g. moisture and oxygen, hence preventing dehydration and oxidative reactions. LÄS MER
