  1. 21. Wideband Sigma-Delta Modulators

    Författare :Xiaolong Yuan; Svante Signell; Jakob Wikner; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; sigma-delta modulator; feedforward; reconfigurable; quadrature bandpass filtering; Electronics; Elektronik;

    Sammanfattning : Sigma-delta modulators (SDM) have come up as an attractive candidatefor analog-to-digital conversion in single chip front ends thanks to the continuousimproving performance. The major disadvantage is the limited bandwidthdue to the need of oversampling. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Reconfigurable On-Chip Instrument Access Networks : Analysis, Design, Operation, and Application

    Författare :Farrokh Ghani Zadegan; Integrerade elektroniksystem; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; On-chip instruments; reconfigurable networks; access time optimization; retargeting; fault management;

    Sammanfattning : The constant need for higher performance and more advanced functionality has made the design and manufacturing of modern electronic chips highly demanding. Moreover, the use of smaller transistors in modern chips has increased their sensitivity to aging and faults, hence the need to constantly monitor the correct operation of these chips. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Programming of coarse-grained reconfigurable architectures

    Författare :Zain Ul-Abdin; Bertil Svensson; Veronica Gaspes; Dag Stranneby; Mario Porrmann; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP; Computer science; Datavetenskap; Datalogi; Computer and Systems Science;

    Sammanfattning : Coarse-grained reconfigurable architectures, which offer massive parallelism coupled with the capability of undergoing run-time reconfiguration, are gaining attention in order to meet not only the increased computational demands of high-performance embedded systems, but also to fulfill the need of adaptability to functional requirements of the application. This thesis focuses on the programming aspects of such coarse-grained reconfigurable computing devices, including the relevant computation models that are capable of exposing different kinds of parallelism inherent in the application and the ability of these models to capture the adaptability requirements of the application.
