  1. 31. Inventory of geomechanical phenomena related to train-induced vibrations from tunnels

    Författare :Andreas Eitzenberger; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Geoteknik; Soil Mechanics; Mining and Rock Engineering; Gruv- och berganläggningsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Banverket is expecting that the number of railway tunnels in densely populated areas will increase over the next 20 years due to the lack of available space on the ground surface, but also since the railway is considered an environmentally friendly solution of transportation for the future. The need for good predictions of vibration and noise levels in dwellings along the planned tunnels is therefore evident. LÄS MER

  2. 32. Influence of wheel tread damage on wheelset and track loading – Field tests and numerical simulations

    Författare :Michele Maglio; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; axle stress; instrumented wheelset; impact loads; dynamic wheel–rail interaction; wheelset maintenance; wheel tread damage;

    Sammanfattning : Wheel tread damage leading to high magnitudes of vertical wheel–rail contact forces is a major cause of train delays in the Swedish railway network, in particular during the coldest months of the year. According to regulations, vehicles generating contact forces exceeding the limit value for allowed wheel–rail impact loads must be taken out of service for wheel maintenance. LÄS MER

  3. 33. Assessment of existing concrete bridges : bending stiffness as a performance indicator

    Författare :Markus Bergström; Paulo J. de S. Cruz; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Structural Engineering; Konstruktionsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Optimizing the use of existing civil reinforced concrete (RC) structures could be interpreted in such a way as to say that the capacity should be used and taken care of in an effective manner, both from a technical and economical point of view, keeping the safety in mind. Achieving this requires thorough understanding of the structure and also of the tools used for assessing current and future capacity and needs. LÄS MER
