  1. 1. Non-intrusive Methods for Mode Estimation in Power Systems using Synchrophasors

    Författare :Vedran Peric; Luigi Vanfretti; Xavier Bombois; Cristian Rojas; Mani V. Venkatasubramanian; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Synchrophasors; Phasor measurement units; system identification; mode estimation; electromechanical oscillations; prediction error; signal selection; experiment design; probing; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Real-time monitoring of electromechanical oscillations is of great significance for power system operators; to this aim, software solutions (algorithms) that use synchrophasor measurements have been developed for this purpose. This thesis investigates different approaches for improving mode estimation process by offering new methods and deepening the understanding of different stages in the mode estimation process. Författare :Eva Petersson; Utbildningsvetenskap; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; didaktik; Pedagogik; Pedagogy and didactics; sensorteknologi; rehabilitering; intuitiv interaktion; interaktiva miljöer; interaktiv lek; icke-formellt lärande; handling; fallstudier; Aktivitet; sensor technology; rehabilitation; non-intrusive interface; non-formal learning; intuitive interaction; interactive play; interactive environments; case studies; Action; activity; non-formal learning;

    Sammanfattning : daptive responsive environments that encourage interaction for children with severe disabilities offer a distinct potential for play and learning in rehabilitation. Physical training and therapy for these children is often enduring, tedious, and boring through repetition - and this is often the case for both the child and the facilitator/therapist. LÄS MER

  3. 3. High-Speed Vision and Force Feedback for Motion-Controlled Industrial Manipulators

    Författare :Tomas Olsson; Institutionen för reglerteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; robotics; Automation; Force vision control; Visual tracking; Visual servoing; control engineering; Automatiska system; robotteknik; reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Over the last decades, both force sensors and cameras have emerged as useful sensors for different applications in robotics. This thesis considers a number of dynamic visual tracking and control problems, as well as the integration of these techniques with contact force control. LÄS MER
