  1. 6. Pharmacokinetics of antidepressant drugs : naturalistic and clinical trials

    Författare :Margareta Reis; Finn Bengtsson; Edoardo Spina; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Sammanfattning : Depression is a major public health problem and it is predicted to be the second leading cause of disease burden by the year 2020. The pharmacological treatment period for major depressive disorder (MDD) is relatively long and sometimes prophylactic over many years. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Multivariate Data Analytics to Identify Driver’s Sleepiness, Cognitive load, and Stress

    Författare :Shaibal Barua; Shahina Begum; Peter Funk; Mobyen Uddin Ahmed; Christer Ahlström; Nirmalie Wiratunga; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Driver monitoring; Driver state; Physiological signals; Machine learning; Contextual information; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Driving a vehicle in a dynamic traffic environment requires continuous adaptation of a complex manifold of physiological and cognitive activities. Impaired driving due to, for example, sleepiness, inattention, cognitive load or stress, affects one’s ability to adapt, predict and react to upcoming traffic events. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Safety within the Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) Domain. Understanding the role of the VTS for safety within maritime traffic management

    Författare :Gesa Praetorius; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; maritime safety; safety construction; traffic management; Vessel Traffic Service VTS ;

    Sammanfattning : Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) is a shore-sided service implemented to promote the safety of navigation, safety of life at sea, and the protection of the marine environment. Its purpose is to work for safe and fluent traffic movements within a determined area, a VTS area. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Understanding and modelling car drivers overtaking cyclists: Toward the inclusion of driver models in virtual safety assessment of advanced driving assistance systems

    Författare :Jordanka Kovaceva; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; traffic safety; overtaking manoeuvres; cyclist; naturalistic data; safety benefit;

    Sammanfattning : The total number of road crashes in Europe is decreasing, but the number of crashes involving cyclists is not decreasing at the same rate. To help car drivers avoid or mitigate crashes while overtaking a cyclist, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) have been developed. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Methods and models for safety benefit assessment of advanced driver assistance systems in car-to-cyclist conflicts

    Författare :Jordanka Kovaceva; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Traffic safety; overtaking manoeuvres; cyclist; safety benefit; naturalistic data;

    Sammanfattning : To help drivers avoid or mitigate the severity of crashes, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) can be designed to provide warnings or interventions. Prospective safety assessment of ADAS is important to quantify and optimise their safety benefit. Such safety assessment methods include, for example, virtual simulations and test-track testing.
