36. Additive manufacturing methods and materials for electrokinetic systems
Sammanfattning : Fabrication of miniaturized devices is usually time-consuming, costly, and the materials commonly used limit the structures that are possible to create. The techniques most often used to make microsystems involve multiple steps, where each step takes considerable time, and if only a few systems are to be made, the price per device becomes excessive. 37. Comparative Study of different Recycling Methods for the Electrolyte Recovery from spent Li-Ion Batteries
Sammanfattning : The state-of-the-art Li-Ion battery (LiB) recycling strategies focus mainly on recycling of the electrode materials, i.e., Li, Co, Mn, Ni, Al, and Cu. LÄS MER
38. Magma-Crust Interaction at Subduction Zone Volcanoes
Sammanfattning : The focus of this work is magma-crust interaction processes and associated crustal volatile release in subduction zone volcanoes, drawing on rock, mineral, and gas geochemistry as well as experimental petrology. Understanding the multitude of differentiation processes that modify an original magma during ascent to the surface is vital to unravel the contributions of the various sources that contribute to the final magmas erupted at volcanoes. 39. Surface reactions of natural illites from different origins
Sammanfattning : Studies of natural illites from different origins were performed, including surface acid-base properties, determination of total inorganic carbonates, and spectroscopic investigations of chemical and structural nature as well as alterations of surface properties by acid-base titration. Using surface complexation model, the fitting results showed that the acid-base behavior of aqueous illite surfaces was dominated by deprotonation procedure. LÄS MER
40. Ionic Conducting Composite as Electrolyte forLow Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells
Sammanfattning : Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are considered as one of the most promising powergeneration technologies due to their high energy conversion efficiency, fuel flexibilityand reduced pollution. The current SOFCs with yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ)electrolyte require high operation temperature (800-1000 °C), which not only hinderstheir broad commercialization due to associated high cost and technologicalcomplications.
