21. Vehicle parameter estimation using road surface vibrations
Sammanfattning : Traffic safety is a big concern of many modern societies. Every year, car accidents cause many injuries and fatalities. This has aected many car manufacturers and governments equally. LÄS MER
22. Assessment of energy storage systems for power system applications based on equivalent circuit modeling
Sammanfattning : Climate change triggered the rethinking of our current energy system. A restructuring is necessary and in progress with the goal to improve our energy supplychain in efficiency and sustainability. This has led to the increased use of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. LÄS MER
23. Dual-modality probe for prostate cancer detection by combining Raman spectroscopy and tactile resonance technology
Sammanfattning : Prostate adenocarcinoma, or prostate cancer (PCa), is the most common type of cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related deaths for men in Sweden and Europe. Radical prostatectomy (RP) is the most common curative treatment for PCa. This is a surgical procedure where the entire prostate is removed. LÄS MER
24. Synergistic Strategies in Multi-Robot Systems: Exploring Task Assignment and Multi-Agent Pathfinding
Sammanfattning : Robots are increasingly utilized in industry for their capability to perform repetitive, complex tasks in environments unsuitable for humans. This surge in robotic applicationshas spurred research into Multi-Robot Systems (MRS), which aim to tackle complex tasksrequiring collaboration among multiple robots, thereby boosting overall efficiency. 25. Novel culture systems to model testicular function and organization
Sammanfattning : In vitro systems to model the testicular microenvironment are required to study physiology and pathology of the testis, the gonadotoxic effect of environmental and pharmaceutical chemicals, as well as to explore the mechanisms ruling spermatogonial stem cell (SSC) self-renewal and differentiation. The knowledge produced in in vitro experiments, using animal, but most importantly utilizing human models, will contribute to the discovery of safe medical treatments and might provide translational tools to treat male infertility problems.
