  1. 36. Public Sector Open Data : Shaping an arena for innovation and value creation

    Författare :Josefin Lassinantti; Debra Howcroft; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Informationssystem; Information Systems; Informatik; Social Informatics;

    Sammanfattning : This research initially sprung out of a natural curiosity for the emerging phenomenon of open data with its combination of democratic perspectives, since it is based on freedom of information legislation, and its potential for a multitude of citizen driven innovations. Research showed that while open data repeatedly was being envisioned for having immense potential of leading to a multitude of innovations and societal impacts, most of the attention still remained on challenges related to enable a broad realisation of open data, that is, putting more data on the web. 4. 39. Team activities in concept development : Addressing open-ended problems

    Författare :Johan Wenngren; Pasi Tyrväinen; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Informationssystem; Information Systems; Effective innovation and organisation AERI ; Effektiv innovation och organisation FOI ; Enabling ICT AERI ; Möjliggörande IKT FOI ; Intelligenta industriella processer FOI ; Intelligent industrial processes AERI ;

    Sammanfattning : The concept development stage is a fundamental part of the development process; in this early stage, teams define what constitutes the problem and find direction for the subsequent problem-solving activities. Concept development that searches for innovative results starts from a problem formulation, or design brief, that should not be too precise; keeping parts open for interpretation and alternatives is important for allowing for the possibility to create new solutions.
