    Sammanfattning : GABA (γ-aminobutyric acid) is a well-known inhibitory neurotransmitter in the CNS. GABA is also present at high concentrations in the insulin-producing β-cells in the islets of Langerhans, but its function there is less clear.     Sammanfattning : The thesis deals with plate bending analysis and shell analysis in static linear and dynamic non-linear situations. The thesis contains two parts.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis I have investigated the effects of pesticide exposure on the ecosystem level using various types of experimental ecosystems, i.e. microcosms. The direct effect of exposure to cyperemthrin, a pyretroid insecticide, was a rapid decrease of crustancean zooplankton in enclosures in a lake. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Diabetic retinopathy (DRP) is a major cause of acquired blindness and visual impairment among people of working age as well as those aged 65 years or more.
