  1. 6. Studies of electrically conductive textile coatings with PEDOT:PSS

    Författare :Maria Åkerfeldt; Högskolan i Borås; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; textile coating; conductive coating; conjugated polymers; coating parameters; PEDOT:PSS; Textile technology; Textiles and Fashion General ; Textil och mode generell ;

    Sammanfattning : This study investigates electrically conductive coatings of textiles, obtained with a direct coating and the addition of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) dispersion to a thickened polyurethane (PU)-based formulation. Textiles with enhanced electrical conductivity have potential applications in antistatic, electrostatic discharge protective, electromagnetic interference shielding, sensoric and temperature-regulating products. 2. 7. Guided Regeneration of the Human Skin : in vitro and in vivo studies

    Författare :Erika Nyman; Gunnar Kratz; Fredrik Huss; Joakim Henricson; Lars B. Dahlin; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Every day and in all parts of the world, humans experience different grades of wounding and tissue loss of the skin, thus initiating one of the most complex biological processes. Acute and chronic wounds, as well as the additional problem of skin scarring, involve not only great suffering for the patient but also extensive health care costs for the society. LÄS MER

  3. 8. In vitro and in vivo studies on biodegradable matrices for autotransplantation

    Författare :Carl-Johan Gustafson; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :In vitro; in vivo; dermis; matrix; autotransplantation; culture; keratinocytes; urothelium; tissue engineering; PUUR; macroporous spheres ; guided tissue regeneration;

    Sammanfattning : Tissue engineering (TE), one of the most rapidly growing fields of life science, is an interdisciplinary area in which technical, biological and medical expertise co-fertilize on another with the ultimate aim of restoring, maintaining or improving tissues and/or organs. This purpose links TE closely to research concerning reconstructive plastic surgery. LÄS MER
