  1. 1. Drama i kemisalen : En designbaserad studie av hur kreativt drama kan stödja gymnasieelevers lärande av kemisk bindning

    Författare :Kerstin Danckwardt-Lillieström; Maria Andrée; Margareta Enghag; Marianne Ødegaard; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; naturvetenskapsämnenas didaktik; Science Education;

    Sammanfattning : A major challenge for chemistry education is to develop the students' understanding of chemical bonding. In upper-secondary school, the challenges are commonly expressed as difficulties for students to distinguish between intra and intermolecular bonding and to understand chemical bonding in terms of electronegativity. 2. 2. Mass transport mechanisms and module design aspects in the recovery of dilute volatile organic compounds by hydrophobic pervaporation

    Författare :Olivera Trifunovic; Livsmedelsteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Livsmedelsteknik; Food and drink technology; Teknik; Technological sciences; Aroma recovery; Module design; Hydrophobic pervaporation; Mass transport;

    Sammanfattning : Hydrophobic pervaporation has gained a lot of attention as an alternative process for mild aroma recovery, but the real commercial applications of this process are still in their infancies. Better understanding of mass transport phenomena in composite pervaporation membranes is essential from the point of view of membrane manufacturing, while process simulation is an important tool for predicting pervaporation module performance. Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the need for urban landscapes that provide resilient contributions to inhabitants’ well-being while also limiting impacts on the Earth system. It aims to (1) advance a nuanced understanding of how urban environments relate to urban dwellers’ well-being, and (2) formulate guidelines for planning that supports urban dwellers’ well-being and align with global sustainability. 4. 4. Electrochemical investigations on lipid cubic phases

    Författare :Mohammad Yaser Khani Meynaq; Britta Lindholm-Sethson; Solomon Tesfalidet; Ehud M. Landau; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Monoolein; Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy; lipid cubic phase; ionic interaction; biofuel cell; fysikalisk kemi; Physical Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) was used to develop a novel methodology for studying ionic interaction with lipids arranged in a lipid cubic phase (LCP). Studying different types of ions, both cations and anions, validated the method. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Structural impact on some physical properties of cellulose-based films

    Författare :Malin Nejström; Magnus Norgren; Håkan Edlund; Ida Svanedal; Bo Andreasson; Lars Evenäs; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Cellulose is a natural material that can be used both in its original form and as a building block for creating new types of materials. This work focused on regenerated cellulose (RC) and cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) in which the hydroxyls on the cellulose backbone were substituted with ester groups. LÄS MER
