Sammanfattning : Climate change scenarios predict that seawater temperature and precipitation will increase in the Baltic Sea region during the next century. In the northern part of the Baltic Sea, increasing inflows of the terrestrial allochthonous dissolved organic matter (ADOM) are expected to be a major consequence of elevated rainfall, which can alter light and nutrient availability for phytoplankton. The long-term processes in landfills are poorly known due to the relatively short time that such landfills have been in existence. Sammanfattning : In agricultural landscapes, pesticides are frequently contaminating nearby aquatic ecosystems. Unlike most other contaminants, pesticides are targeted against specific organism groups, but will also have negative effects on non-target organisms. 10. Sorption of humic substances and microbial activity in the course of artificial recharge of groundwater
Sammanfattning : Sorption of humic subtances and metal-humate complexes on aquifer material taken from basins used for artificial recharge of groundwater was studied in batch scale experiments.
