  1. 1. In Light of Ionic Materials : A short exploration of ionic materials for light-related applications

    Författare :Brando Adranno; Anja-Verena Mudring; Annegret Stark; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; ionic materials; ionic liquids; mesophases; light-emission; electrochemical applications; materialkemi; Materials Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Ionic liquids (ILs) have been one of the most attractive classes of materials of the last decades. The reason behind this is their peculiar set of properties, which enable their possible application in several research fields. ILs are salts that exhibit a very low melting point, which has been arbitrarily defined to be below 100 °C. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Electrochromic Nickel – Tungsten Oxides : Optical, Electrochemical and Structural Characterization of Sputter-deposited Thin Films in the Whole Composition Range

    Författare :Sara Green; Gunnar Niklasson; Claes-Göran Granqvist; Esteban Avendaño; Aline Rougier; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electrochromism; Nickel oxide; Tungsten oxide; Lithium intercalation; Sputtering; Thin films; Nanostructures; Optical properties; Solid State Physics; Fasta tillståndets fysik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the electrochromic NixW1-x oxide thin film system, where 0 < x < 1. The thin films were deposited by reactive DC magnetron co-sputtering from one Ni and one W metal target. In addition, Ni oxide was deposited with water vapor added to the sputtering gas. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Experimental study and simulation of sintering of 316L components produced by binder jetting

    Författare :Alberto Cabo Rios; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; binder jetting; 316L stainless steel; additive manufacturing; dilatometry; sintering modelling; Sintering; anisotropy;

    Sammanfattning : Binder Jetting (BJT) is a multi-step Additive Manufacturing (AM) technique that is used for producing components with highly complex geometries and competitive final properties with high productivity when compared to other AM technologies. The first step provides the basic part geometric shape (BJT printing), and the next step (debinding and sintering) consolidates the part to reach final geometry and intended basic material properties. 4. 4. 3D printing of Green Water Purification Filters : Design towards Sustainable and Scalable Biocomposite Materials

    Författare :Natalia Fijoł; Aji P. Mathew; Lennart Bergström; Alexander Bismarck; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; 3D printing; water treatment; polylactic acid; nanocellulose; nanochitin; hydroxyapatite; green metal-organic frameworks; materialkemi; Materials Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : The globally escalating water pollution and water scarcity necessitates the development of efficient and sustainable water treatment technologies. This thesis investigates the feasibility of utilizing renewable and waste materials in the form of green composites for the fabrication of water purification filters via Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM).
