  1. 6. Analysis of Imaging Spectrometer Data with Lake Environment Applications

    Författare :Catherine Östlund; Tommy Lindell; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Datoriserad bildanalys; Computerized Image Analysis;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis the image processing and analysis aspects of imaging spectrometer (IS) data have been investigated for water and wetland applications. The Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager (CASI) has been the main instrument in the evaluations. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Geospatial data and knowledge on the Web : Knowledge-based geospatial data integration and visualisation with Semantic Web technologies

    Författare :Weiming Huang; Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Geospatial data integration; data visualisation; Semantic Web; Linked Data; ontology;

    Sammanfattning : Geospatial information is indispensable for various types of spatially informed analysis and decision-making, such as traffic analyses, and natural resource management. In addition, geospatial information is one of the most powerful information integrators to bridge diverse sources of information. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Towards Automatic Image Analysis for Computerised Mammography

    Författare :Christina Olsén; Frank Drewes; Fredrik Georgsson; Gunilla Borgefors; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer Aided Diagnosis; Quality Assessment; Image Analysis; Ground Truth Assessment; Artificial Intelligence; Measurements; Segmentation Evaluation; Performance Measures; Pattern Recognition; Validation; Decision Support; Medicine; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Mammographic screening is an effective way to detect breast cancer. Early detection of breast cancer depends to a high degree on the adequacy of the mammogram from which the diagnosis is made. Today, most of the analysis of the mammogram is performed by radiologists. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Planar segmentation for Geometric Reverse Engineering using data from a laser profile scanner mounted on an industrial robot

    Författare :Mohamed Rahayem; Björn Arén; Johan Kjellander; Mathias Broxvall; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Geometric Reverse Engineering; 3D measurement systems; laser scanner; planar segmentation; region-growing; Computer and systems science; Data- och systemvetenskap; Computer and Systems Science; Data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Laser scanners in combination with devices for accurate orientation like Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) are often used in Geometric Reverse Engineering (GRE) to measure point data. The industrial robot as a device for orientation has relatively low accuracy but the advantage of being numerically controlled, fast, flexible, rather cheap and compatible with industrial environments. 5. 10. Advanced analysis of diffusion MRI data

    Författare :Xuan Gu; Anders Eklund; Tim Dyrby; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Diffusion MRI; Distortion Correction; Deep Learning; Uncertainty Estimation;

    Sammanfattning : Diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (diffusion MRI) is a non-invasive imaging modality which can measure diffusion of water molecules, by making the MRI acquisition sensitive to diffusion. Diffusion MRI provides unique possibilities to study structural connectivity of the human brain, e.g. LÄS MER
