26. Endoglucanase and Mannanase from Blue Mussel, Mytilus edulis: Purification, Characterization, Gene and Three Dimensional Structure
Sammanfattning : Two polysaccharide-degrading enzymes (endo-1,4-D-glucanase and β-mannanase) from blue mussel, Mytilus edulis, have been purified to homogeneity using a combination of several chromatographic steps. Each enzyme has been characterized with regard to its molecular weight, isoelectric point, pH and temperature stability, pH and temperature optimum and substrate specificity. LÄS MER
27. Visualising Functional Nanostructures of Organic Semiconductors using Electron Microscopy
Sammanfattning : Organic semiconducting materials have enabled the solution-processable fabrication of light-weight and flexible electronic devices. In particular, doping using molecular dopants has enabled the fabrication of high-performance organic electronics. LÄS MER
28. Hygroelastic behaviour of wood-fibre based materials on the composite, fibre and ultrastructural level
Sammanfattning : Wood fibres can be used as reinforcement in plastics for load carrying purposes. Some advantages compared with conventional man-made fibres are that wood fibres come from a renewable resource, have high specific stiffness and strength, are generally less hazardous to health, biodegradable, and can be manufactured at low cost and high volumes. 29. Effect of Uncertainty of Rock Properties on Radionuclide Transport by Groundwater : Implications for Performance Assessments of the Repository of Spent Nuclear Fuel in Heterogeneous Bedrock
Sammanfattning : The overall objective of the current study is to develop a quantitative understanding of the effects of spatial variability in physical and geochemical properties of crystalline rock on the migration of radionuclides along a single fracture in bedrock. A stochastic model was developed to describe the transport of solutes in fractured rock. LÄS MER
30. Nanoscale organization of luminescent materials and their polarization properties investigated by two-dimensional polarization imaging
Sammanfattning : Semiconductor materials (e.g., conjugated polymers, metal halide perovskites) have been widely used in solar cells, light-emitting diodes, and photodetectors. Organic conjugated systems have high mechanical flexibility and low costs for production. LÄS MER
