The overall aim of the thesis was to study communication – the transfer of information, especially the postoperative handover – between healthcare personnel in an anaesthetic clinic and the effects of using the communication tool SBAR (Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) from a patient safety perspective. Sammanfattning : The general aim of the present doctoral thesis was to examine the potential ability of mild AD patients to utilize semantic knowledge in different forms to enhance episodic memory performance, as well as to investigate the ability to retrieve and monitor general knowledge in these patients.
