31. Capacity of MIMO Dispersive Fading Channels and the Achievable Error Performance of OFDM Signals in Frequency Dispersive Fading Channels
Sammanfattning : Communication over a single-input single-output (SISO) and a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) dispersive fading channel were studied in the context of the ergodic Shannon channel capacity and the achievable error performance. A major contribution to the study is the equivalent SISO and MIMO vector channel models, derived from the corresponding waveform channel models, using a complete orthonormal and finite set of eigenfunctions to represent the waveform channel's output. 32. Efficient Methods for Direct Volume Rendering of Large Data Sets
Sammanfattning : Direct Volume Rendering (DVR) is a technique for creating images directly from a representation of a function defined over a three-dimensional domain. The technique has many application fields, such as scientific visualization and medical imaging. LÄS MER
33. Digital motion control techniques for electrical drives
Sammanfattning : Digital motion control area toady is a well-established one, which is believed to be first initiated by power electronicengineers in the early seventies. Modern digital controltheory, advances in digital signal processor andmicrocontroller technology and recent developments in powerelectronic devices have made this field a very competitive one. 34. Techniques for Efficient Implementation of FIR and Particle Filtering
Sammanfattning : FIR filters occupy a central place many signal processing applications which either alter the shape, frequency or the sampling frequency of the signal. FIR filters are used because of their stability and possibility to have linear-phase but require a high filter order to achieve the same magnitude specifications as compared to IIR filters. LÄS MER
35. Partitioning and Control for Dynamical Systems Evolving on Manifolds
Sammanfattning : With the development and integration of cyber-physical and safety-critical systems, control systems are expected to achieve tasks that include logic rules, receptive decision-making, safety constraints, and so forth. For example, in a persistent surveillance application, an unmanned aerial vehicle might be required to "take photos of areas A and B infinitely often, always avoid unsafe region C, and return to the charging point when the battery level goes low.
