  1. 26. Finger Design Automation for Industrial Robots : A Generic and Agile Approach

    Författare :Mohammadali Honarpardaz; Johan Ölvander; Mehdi Tarkian; Xiaolong Feng; Fredrik Elgh; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : ROBOT fingers play a crucial role in the success and performance of workcells, as fingers are the only interfaces that connect the robot to the physical working environment. Fingers are responsible for grasping and manipulating workpieces without dropping or damaging them. LÄS MER

  2. 27. Simulation-based multi-objective optimization of productivity and worker well-being

    Författare :Aitor Iriondo Pascual; Anna Syberfeldt; Dan Högberg; Erik Brolin; Johan Ölvander; Högskolan i Skövde; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Ergonomics; Productivity; Optimization; Simulation; User Centred Product Design; Användarcentrerad produktdesign; VF-KDO; VF-KDO;

    Sammanfattning : In industry, simulation software is used to simulate production, making it possible to predict events in production, calculate times and plan production, even in the early phases of the production development process. Software known as digital human modelling (DHM) tools can also be used to simulate humans working in production. LÄS MER

  3. 28. Multiobjective Optimization for Safety and Reliability Trade-off : Applications on Early Phases of Aircraft Systems Design

    Författare :Cristina Johansson; Johan Ölvander; Micael Derelöv; John Andrew; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES;

    Sammanfattning : A strategic issue for any industrial company is to conceive safe and reliable systems while performing all systems’ intended functions at a minimum cost. System safety and reliability are fundamental to system design and involve a quantitative assessment prior to system development. LÄS MER

  4. 29. On System Safety and Reliability Methods in Early Design Phases : Cost Fo cused Optimization Applied on Aircraft Systems

    Författare :Cristina Johansson; Johan Ölvander; Per Persson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : System Safety and Reliability are fundamental to system design and involve a quantitative assessment prior to system development. An accurate prediction of reliability and system safety in a new product before it is manufactured and marketed is necessary as it allows us to forecast accurately the support costs, warranty costs, spare parts requirements, etc. LÄS MER

  5. 30. Design and optimization of parallel haptic devices : Design methodology and experimental evaluation

    Författare :Suleman Khan; Kjell Andersson; Jan Wikander; Ölvander Johan; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Medical simulation; 6-DOF haptic devices; design methodology.; SRA - ICT; SRA - Informations- och kommunikationsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The simulation of surgical procedures, in the case of hard tissues such as bone or teeth milling, using a haptic milling surgery simulator requires a haptic device which can provide high stiffness and transparency. To mimic a real milling process of hard tissue, such as for example creating a narrow channel or cavity, the simulator needs to provide force/torque feedback in 5–6 degrees of freedom (DOF). LÄS MER
