    Sammanfattning : Flooding is of great concern world-wide, causing damage to infrastructure, property and loss of life. Low-income countries, in particular, can be negatively affected by flood events due to their inherent vulnerabilities. Moreover, data to perform studies for flood risk management in low-income regions are often scarce or lacking sufficient quality. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Construction Performance Measurement: Site Managers in Refurbishment Projects

    Författare :Ahmet Anil Sezer; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []

    Författare :Stefan Wallin; Rolf Stadler; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Distribuerade datorsystem; Mobile and Pervasive Computing;

    Sammanfattning : Network service providers are struggling to reduce cost while at the same time improving customer satisfaction. This thesis addresses three relevant underlying challenges to achievieng these goals: - managing an overwhelming flow of low-quality alarms - understanding the structure and quality of the delivered services - automation of service configurationAll of the these add to an operator's operational costs since manual work is required in order to understand the alarm and service status as well as for configuring new services. Författare :Erik Löfving; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; MATHEMATICS; MATEMATIK;

    Sammanfattning : Data on flows of materials and substances through the economy and the environment are collected by many different organizations and play a key role in the science of industrial ecology. In this thesis, a framework is suggested for structuring and organizing such data. LÄS MER
