  1. 1. Multipoint Okounkov bodies, strong topology of ω-plurisubharmonic functions and Kähler-Einstein metrics with prescribed singularities

    Författare :Antonio Trusiani; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Okounkov bodies; Seshadri constant; Kähler-Einstein metrics; Kähler Geometry; Canonical metrics; Fano manifolds; Pluripotential theory; Complex Monge-Ampère equations; Kähler packing;

    Sammanfattning : The most classical topic in Kähler Geometry is the study of Kähler-Einstein metrics as solution of complex Monge-Ampère equations. This thesis principally regards the investigation of a strong topology for ω-plurisubharmonic functions on a fixed compact Kähler manifold (X,ω), its connection with complex Monge-Ampère equations with prescribed singularities and the consequent study of singular Kähler-Einstein metrics. 2. 2. Pluripotential-theoretic methods in K-stability and the space of Kähler metrics

    Författare :Mingchen Xia; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; quasi-plurisubharmonic functions; K-stability; cscK metrics;

    Sammanfattning : It is a natural problem, dating back to Calabi, to find canonical metrics on complex manifolds. In the case of polarized compact Kähler manifolds, a natural candidate is a metric with constant scalar curvature (cscK metric). LÄS MER

  3. 3. Period integrals and other direct images of D-modules

    Författare :Ketil Tveiten; Rikard Bøgvad; Uli Walther; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; D-modules; Rings of differential operators; Period integrals; Mathematics; matematik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of three papers, each touching on a different aspect of the theory of rings of differential operators and D-modules. In particular, an aim is to provide and make explicit good examples of D-module directimages, which are all but absent in the existing literature. LÄS MER
