    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Solid oxide electrolyser; Entrained gasification; Fischer-Tropsch process; Thermodynamic analysis; Economy; Emission saving; Policy; Energy Technology; Energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : During the past decades, considerable attention has been dedicated to renewable energy systems. This is due to the increased awareness regarding greenhouse gas emissions as well as limits of the future availability and reliability of conventional energy and power systems. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Process Utility Performance Evaluation and Enhancements in the Traditional Sugar Cane Industry

    Författare :Eyerusalem Deresse Birru; Andrew Martin; Catharina Erlich; Hailong Li; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Sugar cane; energy saving; heat loss; steady state; transient state; CO2 emission; absorption chiller; pellet; bagasse drying; energy perfor-mance; traditional mills; modern mills; waste water; surplus power; Energy Technology; Energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The need to achieve sustainable development has led to devising various approaches for the efficient utilization of natural resources. Renewable energy technology and energy efficiency measures feature prominently in this regard, and in particular for industries such as sugar production:  the sugar cane industry’s eponymous feedstock is a renewable resource, and mills have potential for increased energy savings via improvements to cogeneration units, electric drive retrofitting, and other measures. Sammanfattning : In Sweden, buildings are responsible for about 40 % of total energy use and about 10 % of total CO2 emissions Today more than 60 % of existing Swedish residential buildings are over 40 years old and are in need of major renovation. In addition, 15 % of all multi-family buildings and 27 % of all single-family houses were built before 1945. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Life cycle primary energy use and carbon emission of residential buildings

    Författare :Ambrose Dodoo; Leif Gustavsson; Svend Svendsen; Mittuniversitetet; []
