16. Constraining the timing of veins, faults and fractures in crystalline rocks by in situ Rb-Sr geochronology
Sammanfattning : Precambrian cratons are continent cores archiving the oldest crustal histories on Earth. The crystalline basement of cratons is typically characterized by complex arrays of multiple fracture and fault generations hosting minerals formed by fluids flowing through fracture networks. 17. Material Characterization for Modelling of Sheet Metal Deformation and Failure
Sammanfattning : Weight reduction is one possibility to reduce fuel consumption and emission of transportation vehicles. Sheet metals are often used in automotive and aerospace applications and therefore the weight reduction achieved by reducing the sheet metals thickness is an important contribution to weight reduction. 18. Three-dimensional guidance for Endovascular Aortic Repair
Sammanfattning : Image fusion (IF) of preoperative computed tomography (CT) with intraoperative cone-beam CT (CBCT) is a potentially powerful tool for guidance during endovascular aortic repair (EVAR). It may improve intraoperative anatomic visualization and reduce doses of radiation and contrast medium. LÄS MER
19. Deformation Behaviour, Microstructure and Texture Evolution of CP Ti Deformed at Elevated Temperatures
Sammanfattning : In the present work, deformation behavior, texture and microstructure evolution of commercially pure titanium (CP Ti) are investigated by electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) after compression tests at elevated temperatures. By analysing work hardening rate vs. flow stress, the deformation behaviour can be divided into three groups, viz. LÄS MER
20. Late-orogenic, ductile shear zones and protolith ages in the Svecofennian domain, central Sweden
Sammanfattning : The timing of deformation along ductile shear zones in the Svecofennian Domain in central Sweden has generally been constrained by their relationship to magmatic and metamorphic events of known age. A better resolution for the timing of the deformation can be obtained by direct, radiometric dating of minerals which are constituents of the shear fabric. LÄS MER
