   Sammanfattning : Peritoneal dissemination of colorectal and appendiceal origin was previously considered the end-stage of malignant disease. Today, treatment with cytoreductive surgery (CRS) in combination with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) has prolonged survival and cured some patients with peritoneal metastases (PM).
