11. Glacial dynamics and till genesis in hilly terrain : A study in the Tallträsk area, central-northern Sweden
Sammanfattning : This study deals with the influence of topography on glacial dynamics and the genesis of till in an area of moder-ate bedrock relief. An area 25 km west of Lycksele, northern Sweden, was investigated using geomorphological and sedimentological methods. LÄS MER
12. Cretaceous dinoflagellate cyst stratigraphy of the Höllviken 1 well, Scania, Southern Sweden
Sammanfattning : The main aim of this thesis was to develop an improved biostratigraphical subdivision for part of the Lower and Upper Cretaceous section (Albian to Santonian) of Scania, Southern Sweden. Earlier attempts at biostratigraphic zonation within the sequence Cenomanian to Coniacian based on other micro- and macrofossils have proven difficult due to an impoverished fauna. LÄS MER
13. Holocene environmental changes recorded by diatom stratigraphy in the southern Baltic Sea
Sammanfattning : Sediment cores from the southern Baltic Sea and the Oder River estuary are analysed for their siliceous microfossil assemblages and organic carbon content. Long piston cores from the Bornholm and Gotland Basins provide data on the long-term Holocene history of the Baltic proper and serve as a natural background when evaluating the most recent environmental changes recorded in the short gravity cores. 14. Stratigraphy and facies of Middle Silurian epicontinental carbonate platform deposits of Gotland, Sweden
Sammanfattning : The Silurian foreland of Scandinavia included a vast epicontinental carbonate platform system of which the island of Gotland (Sweden) is an erosional remnant. This thesis treats the Late Wenlock succession (Cyrtograptus lundgreni, Pristiograptus dubius parvus, Gothograptus nassa, Colonograptus(?) praedeubeli, and the Co(?) deubeli zones), and emphasises the sedimentology and biostratigraphy of these deposits. 15. Volcanic stratigraphy and hydrothermal alteration of the Petiknäs south Zn-Pb-Cu-Au-Ag volcanic-hosted massive sulfide deposit, Sweden
Sammanfattning : The Skellefte district is one of the most important mining regions in Sweden and Europe. The district contains more than 85 pyritic Zn-Cu-Au-Ag massive sulfide deposits. LÄS MER
