    Sammanfattning : Aim: The general aim of this thesis was to evaluate effects of recurrent use of a self-assessment instrument in general practitioner (GP) consultations with the patient with depression in the primary care clinical context. Does the use of self-assessment instruments have an effect on depression course, as well as quality of life, well-being, anti-depressant medication use, sick leave, work ability, and health care use in a long-term perspective?     Sammanfattning : Nasal delivery is a feasible alternative to oral or parenteral administration for some drugs because of the high permeability of the nasal epithelium, rapid drug absorption across this membrane and avoidance of hepatic first-pass metabolism. The main objective of this thesis was to investigate factors influencing the permeability of the nasal mucosa to various compounds and to evaluate implications for drug absorption via the nasal route.
