1. Dynamic Train-Track Interaction: Linear and Non-Linear Track Models with Property Scatter
Sammanfattning : A numerical method was developed to investigate the vertical dynamic behaviour of a railway track subjected to the loading of a moving train. The numerical simulations are carried out in the time-domain with what is known as a moving mass model. LÄS MER
2. Structural Behaviour of Concrete Railway Sleepers
Sammanfattning : The railway concrete sleeper is an important part of the railway track structure. The sleeper member requires substantial engineering skills during the design and manufacturing process in order to fulfil the requirements set by modern train traffic. LÄS MER
3. Essential modelling details in dynamic FE-analyses of railway bridges
Sammanfattning : The increased need to reduce the use of fossil fuels imposes higher demands on the efficiency of rail transportation. Therefore, an improved knowledge regarding the dynamic properties of railway bridges and infrastructure for railway traffic in general is required. LÄS MER
4. Studies of reursive projection methods for convergence acceleration of steady state Calculations
Sammanfattning : this paper we have defined two classes of projectionmethods. RPM(m) and NPGS(m), where RPM(1) is the classicalscheme due to Shroff \&Keller. Following the ideas in Lustet al., we obtain NPGS(m). LÄS MER
5. Longitudinal Force Distribution and Road Vehicle Handling
Sammanfattning : The distribution of longitudinal forces has a large influence on vehicle handling characteristics such as the driver/vehicle interaction, road holding and yaw stability, in particular during combined traction/braking and cornering near the grip limit of the tires. In order to select and develop suitable driveline systems and associated active control that provide consistent driver/vehicle handling, maximum road holding and sufficient yaw stability margins, it is essential to understand the influence of a particular drive force distribution on these handling characteristics.
