  1. 1. Phylogeny and classification of the tribe Vanguerieae (Rubiaceae)

    Författare :Henrik Lantz; Torsten Eriksson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Biology; Vanguerieae; Rubiacaeae; phylogeny; classification; morphology; ITS; trnT-F; rpl16; Biologi; Biology; Biologi; systematisk botanik; Systematic Botany;

    Sammanfattning : Vanguerieae is a tribe in the mainly tropical angiosperm family Rubiaceae. The tribe currently comprises around 600 species in 27 genera, with the major part of the species distributed in Africa south of the Sahara. The phylogeny of the tribe was investigated using both molecular and morphological data. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Studies on the Roles of PDGFRA and EGFR in the Classification and Identification of Therapeutic Targets for Human Gliomas

    Författare :Dongfeng Chen; Neurokirurgi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Gliomas; classification; EGFR; PDGFRA; FGF2; surface expression; cell proliferation;

    Sammanfattning : Glioma is the most common type of primary tumor in the adult central nervous system (CNS). However, the current classification of gliomas is highly subjective and even inaccurate in some cases, which leads to clinical confusion and hinders the development of targeted therapies. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Selaginellaceae, spikemosses, is a heterosporous plant family belonging to the lycophytes. With an estimated age of some 350 million years, the family is historically important as one of the oldest known groups of vascular plants. Selaginellaceae is herbaceous with a worldwide distribution. However, the majority of the ca. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Acute Pancreatitis. Biomarkers and radiology assessment

    Författare :Hanna Sternby; Kirurgi; []
    Nyckelord :acute pancreatitis; severity grade; Biomarkers; morphology; classification; radiology assessment; Acute pancreatitis; severity grade; Biomarkers; morphology; classification; radiology assessment;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a common and potentially severe disease. Early identification of severity grade is crucial for the outcome of the patient. For study approaches and comparison of inter-institutional data the AP patients need to be uniformly classified. LÄS MER
