6. Additive manufacturing of Ni-based Superalloys- an analysis of parameter and strategy driven properties in Electron Beam Melting Process
Sammanfattning : Metal AM processes produce significantly rough surfaces as compared to wrought or machined components. Currently, the as-EBM surfaces are extremely rough and consequently, the as-built components could not be directly used as commercial products. The state-of-the-art research has focused primarily on deeply machined (DM) samples. LÄS MER
7. Reliability, fatigue and mechanical characterization of lead-free solders for electronic packaging applications
Sammanfattning : The ever increasing amount of electronic waste, most of which ends up in landfills, has become a serious worldwide concern. In addition to this, the fact that Pb is highly toxic and harmful to humans has lead to the ban of this element from the electronics industry. LÄS MER
8. Crystallization of Parabens : Thermodynamics, Nucleation and Processing
Sammanfattning : In this work, the solubility of butyl paraben in 7 pure solvents and in 5 different ethanol-water mixtures has been determined from 1 ˚C to 50 ˚C. The solubility of ethyl paraben and propyl paraben in various solvents has been determined at 10 ˚C. LÄS MER
9. In vitro-solubility and supersaturation behavior of supersaturating drug delivery systems
Sammanfattning : The development of new pharmaceutical products has been challenged by the growing number of poorly water-soluble drugs, which often lead to suboptimal bioavailability. Various approaches, such as the use of amor-phous solid dispersions and cocrystals, have been used to improve the solu-bility, and subsequent bioavailability, of these drug molecules. LÄS MER
10. Effect of fuel composition and combustion conditions on phosphorus behavior during combustion of biomass
Sammanfattning : Due to concerns for climate change and future supply of phosphorus fertilizer within agriculture, there has been an increased interest in the combustion of phosphorus containing waste residues and opportunity biomass fuels. Previous research has shown that during combustion, phosphorus has large impact on ash transformation reactions and may decrease or increase ash-related problems such as slag formation and bed agglomeration.
