11. Constitutive Behaviour and Fracture of Adhesive Layers : Inverse Methods and Energetic Balance
Sammanfattning : In the automobile industry, current demands on reduced emissions with maintained or even increased crash worthiness, forces the industry to seek weight-reducing designs. The possibility to use lightweight materials is obviously attractive. At joints, these lightweight materials have to be connected to high-strength or low-cost materials. LÄS MER
12. Approaches to improve researcher-practitioner communication in joint software engineering research
Sammanfattning : Background:Joint research between industry and academia benefits both communities. For researchers, working with practitioners, it is a chance to collect empirical data and test research-based solution proposals. For practitioners, one of the main benefits is access to scientific knowledge. 13. Temporomandibular joint pain, hyperalgesia and allodynia in relation to interleukin-1ß and serotonin
Sammanfattning : This thesis had two main aims and comprises a methodological and a clinical part. The aims were to develop a temporomandibular joint (TMJ) synovial fluid (SF) sampling method that enables the determination of the true SF level of various substances and, by using the developed TMJ SF sampling method, investigate the hypothesis that circulating as well as SF content of interleukin-1ß (IL-1ß) and serotonin (5-HT) influence different TMJ pain entities and signs of tissue destruction in patients with TMJ inflammatory disorders. 14. Pain and radiographic changes of the arthritic temporomandibular joint : relation to cytokines in synovial fluid and plasma
Sammanfattning : In patients with rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory joint diseases, radiographic changes of the TMJ are frequently observed. Common symptoms of TMJ involvement are pain at rest and on movement of the jaw. LÄS MER
15. Optimal Transmit Strategies for Multi-antenna Systems with Joint Sum and Per-antenna Power Constraints
Sammanfattning : Nowadays, wireless communications have become an essential part of our daily life. During the last decade, both the number of users and their demands for wireless data have tremendously increased. Multi-antenna communication is a promising solution to meet this ever-growing traffic demands. LÄS MER
