    Sammanfattning : The knee joint is one of the most common injury sites in children, with the spectrum of injuries differing from those in adults. Traumatic lateral patellar dislocation (LPD) is the most common serious injury; the incidence is approximately 1/1000 in children 9-15 years of age.     Sammanfattning : Congenital insensitivity to pain is a rare hereditary neuropathy. We present patients from a large family in Norrbotten, Sweden with a mutation in the nerve growth factor β gene (NGFß).     Sammanfattning : Aseptic loosening of the tibial component is an important cause of failure after total knee arthroplasty. Bone destruction often claimed to be caused by the cement makes the revision difficult.
