  1. 6. Allylic alcohols and aziridines from alkenes : Studies in asymmetric catalysis

    Författare :Mikael J. Södergren; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry; Enantioselective; allylic alcohols; epoxide rearrangement; lithium amides; desymmetrization; kinetic resolution; allylic oxidation; alkenes; aziridination; Kemi; Chemistry; Kemi; organisk kemi; Organic Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : The development of methodology for asymmetric catalytic transformation of alkenederivatives is summarized. The studies concern the [a] Cu(I)-catalyzed allylic oxidation,[b] isomerization of epoxides to allyl alcohols, and [c] Cu(I)-catalyzed alkeneaziridination, respectively.[a] The preparation of exo-2-azabicyclo[2.2. 2. 7. Making Analogues of Tröger's Base – Fused oligomers, endo/exo isomers and twisted amides

    Författare :Josep Artacho Ruiz; Centrum för analys och syntes; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : The centenarian Tröger’s base (TB) was envisaged as scaffold for the construction of tubular-shaped cleft molecules due to its the remarkable structural properties. This endeavor started with the synthesis of the three possible diastereomers of a linear symmetrically fused tris-TB analogue, the anti-anti, the syn-syn, and the syn-anti. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Deracemization of Functionalized Alcohols via Combined Ruthenium and Enzyme Catalysis

    Författare :Ann-Britt L. Fransson; Jan-Erling Bäckvall; Hans-Erik Högberg; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Organic chemistry; Organisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : The major part of this thesis describes the synthesis of enantiopure alcohols and diols by combining ruthenium-catalyzed racemization or epimerization and lipase-catalyzed asymmetric transformations. A minor part of this thesis is focused on ruthenium-catalyzed redox reactions for transfer hydrogenation of 1,3-cycloalkanediketones. LÄS MER
