  1. 1. A theory of bond applied to overlapped tensile reinforcement splices for deformed bars

    Författare :Ralejs Tepfers; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Concrete; splitting failures; confinement; deformed bars; tensile overlap splices; bond theory; fatigue; concrete cover splitting; reinforcement;

    Sammanfattning : A bond theory for deformed reinforcing bars in concrete is elaborated taking into account different stages in development of final rupture occurring as splitting or pull-out. The concrete cover splitting resistance is modelled for a thick-walled concrete ring in elastic and plastic stages. Different final possible failure modes are analysed. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Structural Behaviour of Deteriorated Concrete Structures

    Författare :Kamyab Zandi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; FE analysis; concrete; stirrup; corrosion; bond; pull-out test; frost;

    Sammanfattning : A growing concern for better assessment of existing concrete structures has revealed a need for improved understanding of the structural effects of deterioration. The two most common causes of deterioration in concrete structures are freezing of the concrete and corrosion of the reinforcement. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Structural Effects of Reinforcement Corrosion in Concrete Structures

    Författare :Mohammad Tahershamsi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; experiments; load-carrying capacity; anchorage; pitting; FE analysis; natural corrosion; Bond properties; damage assessment; modelling.; structural behaviour; reinforced concrete structures; 3D optical scanning; inspection;

    Sammanfattning : Reinforcement corrosion is a common cause of deterioration in reinforced concrete.The corrosion mechanism involved and the consequent structural behaviour ofdeteriorated reinforced concrete members have been studied by several researchers. LÄS MER
