  1. 21. Question Classification in Question Answering Systems

    Författare :Håkan Sundblad; Arne Jönsson; Jussi Karlgren; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Question classification; question answering; machine learning; taxonomy; evaluation; Computational linguistics; Datorlingvistik;

    Sammanfattning : Question answering systems can be seen as the next step in information retrieval, allowing users to pose questions in natural language and receive succinct answers. In order for a question answering system as a whole to be successful, research has shown that the correct classification of questions with regards to the expected answer type is imperative. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Visual Object Tracking and Classification Using Multiple Sensor Measurements

    Författare :Yixiao Yun; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; sensor fusion; Riemannian manifold; visual pattern classification; multiple view geometry; Visual object tracking; boosting; multiple sensor measurement;

    Sammanfattning : Multiple sensor measurement has gained in popularity for computer vision tasks such as visual object tracking and visual pattern classification. The main idea is that multiple sensors may provide rich and redundant information, due to wide spatial or frequency coverage of the scene, which is advantageous over single sensor measurement in learning object model/feature and inferring target state/attribute in complex scenarios. 3. 23. Data-Driven Classification in Road Networks

    Författare :Oliver Stromann; Zahra Gharaee; Alireza Razavi; Michael Felsberg; John Folkesson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) are an emerging trend in the transport sector and their impact on transportation, the economy, society and the environment will be tremendous. Much like the automobile shaped the way humans travelled, lived and worked during the 20th century, CAVs have yet again the potential to affect and reform all of these areas. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Chemoenzymatic Resolution in Dynamic Systems : Screening, Classification and Asymmetric Synthesis

    Författare :Yan Zhang; Olof Ramström; Sabine Flitsch; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; constitutional dynamic chemistry; dynamic systemic resolution; dynamic kinetic resolution; enzyme catalysis; transesterification; enzyme promiscuity; asymmetric synthesis; pattern recognition; self-inhibition.;

    Sammanfattning : This  thesis  is  divided  into  four  parts,  all  centered  around  Constitutional Dynamic  Chemistry  (CDC)  and  Dynamic  Kinetic  Resolution  (DKR)  using biocatalysts for selective transformations, and their applications in screening of bioactive compounds, organic synthesis, and enzyme classification.   In  part  one,  an  introduction  to  CDC  and  DKR  is  presented,  illustrating  the basic  concepts,  practical  considerations  and  potential  applications  of  such dynamic systems, thus providing the background information for the studies in the following chapters.
